With over 12 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, Dr. Heather Domingues has dedicated her career to helping patients of all ages—from infancy to end of life—regain strength, independence, and mobility. Her clinical background spans across a variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home care. She specializes in treating individuals with brain injuries, orthopedic conditions, fall risks, and balance and vestibular disorders.

Driven by the belief that there are no limits to physical progress, Dr. Domingues leads a thriving outpatient therapy practice with two clinics and a robust home care program. She is passionate about maximizing patient outcomes through personalized, function-focused care.

The idea for FeedUp™ was born during her time treating children with feeding tubes at RWJ Barnabas Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Jersey. She witnessed firsthand the daily challenges her patients faced—particularly how traditional feeding equipment limited mobility, disrupted therapy, and reduced safety and independence.

Motivated to create a solution that removed these barriers, Heather envisioned a better way. Today, FeedUp™ is a fully patented medical device in the final stages of prototype refinement and manufacturing preparation. Her mission is simple but powerful: to make FeedUp™ accessible in every hospital room, care facility, and home where it’s needed—empowering individuals with feeding tubes to move more freely, live more fully, and regain control of their daily lives.
